On Thursday, December 5th, the SLHS Band will host the South Lakes HS Band Bonanza from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. This FREE event is open to all pyramid band students in grades 4 – 12. Participants will learn some pieces in sectionals, have dinner, and then give an informal performance for the parents at the end of the evening. Our goal is to show pyramid support and get kids excited about being in band in elementary, middle, and high school. We are asking our high school students to serve as "band buddies" (mentors) for the younger students -- yes, service hours will be given -- and as we are providing dinner, we do need RSVPs.
