This Friday is our second home football game and second halftime performance for the marching band. The band will wear their official uniforms/costumes, potentially add props to the mix, and most importantly, welcome middle school students for youth band night. That means we need a little extra food, and we have a few more volunteer needs for performance crew and "greeters" for the MS students. Let’s show the middle school students what a fantastic experience Marching Band can be!

First, a fantastic first performance on Friday night to kick off the football and marching band season. Congratulations on an outstanding halftime show as well as keeping the energy up with pep music and the fight song as the Seahawks won their season opener! Thank you to all who volunteered to ensure the students had a great dinner as well as the incredible support on and off the field moving instruments and gear.
Second, as for Tag Day…..AMAZING! Absolutely amazing is the only way to describe it! The weather was gorgeous, everyone was in great spirits AND we exceeded our goal!!!! THANK YOU!!!! We look forward to that number continuing to grow as hangtag and Paypal donations arrive in the coming days! THANK YOU students for all of your hard work walking the neighborhoods, knocking on doors, collecting donations, and representing our bands so positively in the community. Many thanks to all the parent volunteers who drove teams of students, donated food, counted donations, served lunch, or helped us with all of the little things that needed to be done to make the day run so smoothly. Tag Day was so successful because of the great help and support from our band families! |
