Lots of exciting things happening in 2022-- Check it out!
We hope everyone enjoyed our Winter Concert this Thursday. The kids did an amazing job and played to a FULL House with standing ovations! They were absolutely fantastic in their first in-person concert in 19 months. A very special SHOUT OUT to Andy Gallagher for donating two beautiful Seahawk stained glass pieces which were raffled off. We sold 265 tickets, and we received numerous donations. In total, $320 was raised, and all proceeds went straight to the band. THANK YOU!
Please join us for the first concert of the year. Our Symphonic band and Wind Ensemble will be playing holiday favorites as well as other amazing pieces. The concert is free and will be in the South Lakes little theatre at 7 pm. It will be a magical night.
Our Seahawks band is participating in the Indoor Drumline Series which runs though the end of the school year. Student are focusing not only on drum skills, but front ensemble and keyboard too. There will be three competitions, the first of which will be February 26th at Potomac HS. Currently the kids are learning skills and running drills. They will be getting their music soon. Stay tuned for more exciting updates. GO BAND!
