See you at Back to Band Night this Wednesday!

This Wednesday, August 21, we will hold our Back to Band information session at 7:00 pm in the SLHS cafeteria. All parents who have a student in band should plan on attending (even if you’ve done this before.) Doors will open at 6:45pm to allow parents to visit stations to turn in any outstanding forms, get the OTC medication form notarized (we will have a notary there!), pay band fees, sign up to drive on Tag Day, get information on band spirit wear, etc. After 7pm, Mr. Fore will present important information regarding activities for the year, policies, trips, etc. and the Band Boosters will provide a brief overview of coming events. Following the presentation, we will re-open the stations mentioned above until ~8:15pm. Marching band rehearsal is scheduled to run until 9pm that evening - parents are welcome to adjourn to the stadium after the meeting to watch our awesome staff at work and see the amazing progress the kids have made!
