The South Lakes Indoor Drumline and Winter Guard both competed in their last competitions at the AIA (Atlantic Indoor Association) finals last weekend. Both had impressive performances and placed 7th in their division. Winter Guard took 2nd place in General Effect and Drumline was .75 points off of first place for Visuals and 1.3 points off of first place for Music -- pretty impressive for their inaugural season. There were 32 teams competing overall in percussion and 68 Teams overall in Winter Guard.
Here is the website to see all of the scores: http://atlanticindoor.org/scores-and-recaps/ The indoor drumline will be performing in their final event of their inaugural season at the Hampton Coliseum on Sunday, April 3rd at 2:45 pm. There are 13 teams in their division, and will prove to be an exciting day. The students have worked very hard this season and should all be very proud of their accomplishments. Wish them well!
